Built to move fast on and off the trail, the adidas Terrex Skychaser hiking shoes are your ticket to fast-paced hikes and rugged summit scrambles. Inspired by trail running, these shoes feature ultralight Lightstrike cushioning for a responsive feel and agile footwork. A GORE-TEX membrane seals out wet conditions while letting your feet breathe and helps to regulate their temperature. A reinforced layer in the midsole offers increased stability to scramble over rocky ground without missing a step, while abrasion-resistant mesh lends the shoes extended durability. A Stealth Hf climbing rubber zone provides rock-gripping traction to move across boulder fields and pursue alpine scrambles.
Made with a series of recycled materials, this upper features at least 50% recycled content. This product represents just one of adidas' solutions to help end plastic waste.

Perfluorinated and polyfluorinated compounds, also known as PFCs, are a group of fluorinated substances that have long been used as durable water repellence for clothing in the outdoor industry are very bad for the environment because they are very stable, and do not easily break down in nature. Therefore, PFC free/ C0 DWR treatments have been developed. They are less durable but more sustainable.
