Like all the skis in the Redster X range, it’s got Atomic’s Multi Radius Sidecut, so every turn is locked in and precise - long or short, no turn is misplaced. World Cup-proven Revoshock tech absorbs bumps and ski chatter and keeps the ride grounded and predictable. The Redster X7 Revoshock C is a versatile ski for on-piste skiing built with TI Powered laminate and Power Woodcore for torsional stiffness and stability. All skis from the Atomic factory are delivered with steel edges that have been carefully machined with a precise base edge bevel for specific performance characteristics. Base edge angles between 0.8° and 1.6° lightly lift the ski edges off the snow for easy turning while maintaining edge grip and tracking throughout the turn.
Precisely tuned edges are an important part of ski performance. A dull edge cannot penetrate the snow surface and will skid through a turn. An edge that is too sharp will grab and catch the snow surface creating unstable performance. The Atomic skis are prepared with a side edge angle of 87.0° for more intuitive handling, easier skiing and better grip on hard snow and ice.
With Active Camber, more of the ski’s edge length stays in contact with the snow. This creates better grip on icy slopes and makes the ski super stable.
