BCA snow study tools are designed in conjunction with North America’s leading avalanche educators. The inclinometer from BCA is a lightweight multi-tool for your backpack. It has been redesigned and is now even more robust and versatile. The concave underside can be used as a ski scraper and inclinometer. The lower edge fits into the radius of the ski poles so that the inclinometer can be placed on it when the pole is lying on the surface. Inside a tube filled with liquid is a metal ball that measures the angle of inclination when placed perpendicular to the snow. Thanks to the ability to measure angles of up to 60 degrees, you can check whether a descent is too steep and prone to avalanches. This product stabilizes quickly and can therefore be read quickly - essential for a safe backcountry experience. Simply turn the inclinometer over and you can use the sharp edges to remove the snow from your ski skins. Included with the BCA snowpack analysis kit.
