The Makra Light Lady GORE-TEX® is an agile all-rounder for via ferratas and easier alpine tours.

It’s the perfect height and has all the characteristics required for a range of activities. And it’s very versatile too. Because footwear to see you safely over iron pins, ladder rungs and rocky ledges has to be particularly solid to be able to withstand the constant loading. At the same time, it has to provide the wearer with a good ‘feel’ for the terrain underfoot. And if it’s going to be comfortable going uphill and downhill, then it has to be built on a well cushioned base that promotes smooth roll-off performance. The sporty mid-cut Makra Light Lady GORE-TEX® can do even more. It is suitable for all those women who enjoy the advantages of a low cut on the uphill, but cannot or do not want to do without the stabilising safety at the joints on the downhill. This is made possible by the use of a special 2-zone fixation and a mechanical clamp, with which the shaft can be easily and effortlessly adjusted to the respective terrain and requirements. In contrast to a conventional clamping hook, the mechanical clamp blocks reliably and can no longer slip after fixing - without manual intervention. This adjustment allows, for example, a tight lacing at the ankle and a loose fixation of the upper part of the shaft for optimum ankle mobility during ascent and climbing. When descending, the whole thing can also be laced tightly over the ankle so that the ankle remains stable. In addition to a flexibly adjustable shaft, the Makra Light Lady GTX impresses with a particularly lightweight, snug-fitting and well-cushioned midsole technology, which provides the necessary stability for difficult terrain.
