Technical data

Vibram
Vibram:

This shoe features a Vibram sole. The Italian sole manufacturer has been one of the leading brands in the field of high-quality soles for many years.

The VIBRAM EVO relies on the proven Vibram technology: multifunctional profile design with an optimal rubber compound for hiking on a wide variety of terrains. Combined with the tried-and-tested heel profile for pleasant descents.

Resoleable
Resoleable:

There is the possibility of resoling.

2 Zone Lacing
2 Zone Lacing:

Thanks to the two-zone lacing, the forefoot and shaft have separately adjustable lacing zones. This allows the shoe to be individually adapted to the anatomy of the foot and laced differently for going uphill and downhill.

X-Lacing
X-Lacing:

This means that the tongue sits where it belongs - without slipping or pressure points: With X-LACING® technology, this is easily possible with shoes. The special lacing fixes the tongue both vertically and horizontally. Since the lacing is independent of the individual height of the instep, this construction is ideal for every foot. With this lacing technology, the pressure of the laces is no longer only transferred to the hooks, but to the entire tongue.

FlexFit
FlexFit:

If the upper of a hiking shoe can be bent slightly, the foot can roll better. This saves energy, especially when walking uphill, and ensures noticeable comfort. That's why LOWA has incorporated a flexible zone and a so-called "lace loop" in the area of the crook of the foot. This means relocating the eyelet and using a flexible deep-draw hook that improves heel fit and eases flexion.

Lowa Flex
Lowa Flex:

Moderately Stiff
Moderately Stiff:

The shoe has a medium flexural rigidity.

C4-Tongue
C4-Tongue:

With this special construction of the shoe tongue, the wearing comfort is noticeably increased. For example, the tongue is thicker padded on the outside of the foot and has a soft finish at the top. This asymmetrical padding ensures optimal support in different areas of the foot. In addition, the recesses for the ankle areas are higher on the inside than on the outside, and a flexible flex insert is integrated on the inside of the foot to accommodate the anatomy of the feet.

Women Last
Women Last:

To ensure an optimal fit, the last is specially adapted to the female anatomy. The last is largely responsible for ensuring that the shoe fits well. Since women's feet have a smaller volume, the instep height and ball circumference, for example, are adjusted.
