That’s right. The new CHASER X range is versatility taken to the max when it comes to using a bike as a means of transport. Born from one of our most adaptable mountain bike models, the CHASER, this 'X' version inherited its forebear’s capability on the dirt but adapted to meet the brief of what an outstanding “daily-driver” urban machine needs to be. Able to get around on any surface or in any environment, it offers the responsiveness, speed and safety of a mountain bike but refocused on an urban setting.
The CHASER X comes with all the heritage and identity of the highest performance Mondraker mountain bike models yet designed with a focus on daily mobility. It’s still more than capable off road too. The CHASER X has 150mm of front wheel travel and 140mm of rear wheel travel which provide comfort, pedalling efficiency and more than enough shock absorption to deal with whatever obstacles you encounter on your trips, whether they be on a workday or at the weekend.
Looking to maximise the versatility of use of the CHASER X Mondraker has designed a STEALTH EVO aluminium frame to exceed the requirements of an urban bike. TheCHASER X comes with full mudguards, a rear pannier rack (rated for a load of up to 25kg), front and rear lights, and a direct mount kickstand on the left chainstay as standard equipment. What’s more, to greater aid efficiency whether on asphalt or dirt, the CHASER comes with 2.6" Maxxis Ikon tires that guarantee grip on all types of surfaces and a high level of comfort thanks to their generous volume and diameter. Both wheels are 29".
Forward Geometry
The CHASER X rely on the fundamental contribution to handling provided by FORWARD GEOMETRY. Mondraker’s geometric frame design concept provides you with greater safety and control of your bike on a daily basis. Whether on the streets of our cities, in the suburbs or out in the country, there will always be always surprises: poorly paved roads, raised curbs, transitions between dirt and asphalt, stairs, and parks and recreational areas with stones and roots. All together a combination of both natural and man-made obstacles that show just how capable the geometry of CHASER X is, as well as how well it absorbs the bumps, brakes and accelerates when you need it.
Batteries of up to 625Wh and Mosch's Smart System
As a part of the 2024 Urban Cross range the new CHASER, comes equipped with a Bosch Performance Line CX G4 motor. For 2024, the Urban Cross models fitted with 625Wh batteries as standard also come with Bosch’s Smart System. The CHASER X model has a 625Wh battery, Bosch’s Kiox 300 display and Bosch’s LED Remote control.
The new CHASER X range is perfect for people who want a bike for commuting as well as for family and leisure trips without sacrificing the fun riding off-road. Its mountain bike heritage, its generous suspension travel, its FORWARD GEOMETRY and its 2.6” tyres all provide far more comfort and safety than a conventional urban ever bike could on road, with the added bonus of knowing you won’t be caught of your depth on mountain tracks or bridleways if the fancy takes you. The power of Bosch’s Performance Line CX G4 motor together with the range provided by 625Wh batteries offers you a far more dynamic and effective way of getting around, putting you ahead of the rat race before your day has even begun. The CHASER X also opens the door to anyone who’s been waiting to take the leap to owning their first full suspension e-bike. Its versatility coupled with the power of the latest generation Bosch motor and more than enough range to deal with any type of trip are ideal attributes for your first stray into the world of electric bikes, free of the limitations posed by more urban specific models.
Technical data
The new Performance CX generation is now 48% smaller and 25% lighter compare to the previous generation. More compact but no less powerful, the new Bosch Performance CX Generation 4 comes with a maximum power output of 75Nm and 340%. Choose between 5 assist modes or opt for the comfort of the eMTB mode which automatically adapts the assistance like an automatic gearbox does in a car.
Use the E-Bike Flow app to control all functions of the smart system, connecting the drive unit, battery, display and control unit. It allows you to customize the E-Bike exactly to your preferences, enhance it and keep it up to date: You can simply download new features and services, connecting updates for your E-Bike via Bluetooth. This keeps your E-Bike up to date and continuously upgraded with new features. This is how you can take your riding enjoyment to even higher levels.
Intuvia 100 provides information with data on distance, trip duration, range, speed, time and riding mode. You can also see the exact battery level in pourcentages. The Bluetooth connection will automatically detect your phone for updates and sharing info.

More grip, safety and performance
Increased safety on steep downhill sections: The front center is longer, which means that the front axle is further forward compared to an average standard geometry.This increases stability and reduces the risk of rollovers in steep and technically demanding passages. The perceived flatter angles ensure a confidence-inspiring riding experience.
Confidence at high speeds: The extended wheelbase improves the bike's stability on any surface.
Direct steering behavior: The combination with our self-developed FG30 stem improves steering precision and enables extremely agile handling.
More uphill precision: The longer front center keeps the front wheel better on the ground and prevents unwanted wheelies. This makes it easier to climb very steep sections.
Stability in technically demanding and difficult terrain: FG results in an improved balance between the front and rear wheel, which in turn leads to more traction and control and therefore more stability on technically demanding and rough terrain.
