The ORTLIEB Sport-Packer is a waterproof pannier suitable for the lowrider or the rear rack. With its classical lid closure the waterproof pannier Sport-Packer allows fast access to the bag’s interior, and can be loaded higher than the Sport-Roller. The Sport-Packer is perfect as “small” rear pannier or pannier for children’s or youth bikes. A fixed inner pocket with main compartment and zippered Mesh-Pocket helps organising items inside the bag.

Bike-Packer fans will be delighted about this bag as ideal supplement to the Classic line with handlebar bag Ultimate and rear panniers Bike-Packer Classic, especially for longer bike tours. The ORTLIEB QL2.1 system allows fast and easy single-handed mounting and removal of the panniers, and is suitable for racks with a tube diameters up to 16 mm (hook inserts for diameters of 8, 10 and 12 mm are included). Once the panniers are hooked into the rack, the mounting components close automatically. For taking off the rack you simply lift the handle. A 20 mm hook is available as optional accessory. The hook rail on the lower rear side of the pannier that serves for additional fixation is made of a two-component synthetic combination with antiscratch function. This reduces abrasions on the carrier and prevents damage to the rack tubing. Thanks to the QL2.1 mounting hook rotatable in 45° steps the system is compatible with almost any bike rack. Once the panniers are hooked into the rack, the mounting components close automatically. For taking off the rack you simply lift the handle. It’s as easy as that! The elliptical hook rail on the lower rear side of the pannier serves for additional fixation and prevents the bag from moving around. Thanks to the rotating QL2 hook the mounting system is compatible with almost any bike rack. Further features: base feet protecting the bag’s bottom and supporting the panniers stability off the rack, reflectors, shoulder strap.

Note: In order to meet standard IP54 (5=protected against dust, 4=protected against splash water coming from all directions) the lid must be properly closed

Attention: Maximum load per pannier is 9kg / 20 lbs. We recommend weighing each loaded pannier to confirm that the maximum allowance of the pannier fixation is not exceeded. This practice is advised for both rear and front panniers. CAUTION: The maximum weight capacity of every carrier model is different. Please observe the maximum weight allowance of the carrier fitted to your bicycle. Note: Sometimes the maximum capacity of the panniers fixing system can exceed the maximum capacity of the carrier.
