The Cochise 120 DYN GW is a true freeride boot.
Thanks to the lightweight shell material and the 55° angle of movement in hike mode, the short ascent or traverse to the next powder slope is an effortless stroll. On the descent, the 120 flex and 4-buckle construction really come into their own. The T-Ride system connects the shaft to the shell, and the longer lever enables faster edging and at the same time gives the skier greater stability. If the boot doesn't fit perfectly the first time you try it on, the C.A.S. system allows the shell and inner boot to be individually adjusted. The special GripWalk® sole ensures the necessary grip when the last few meters to the summit are covered without skis. To ensure that the ski boot can be recycled at the end of its life cycle, the model was developed according to Eco Design. No PVC was used and recycled and less complex materials were used.
The C.A.S. - Custom Adaptive Shape -Shell has an anatomical shape that matches the shape of the foot. This allows for a better out-of-the box initial fit. The dimples on the shell offer less surface tension and facilitate heating, making customizing the shell easier. The shell retains the new shape better and longer.

C.A.S. - Custom Adaptive Shape -has revolutionized ski boots with regards to fit and personalization. The liners are anatomically shaped for optimal comfort and offer great heel hold. The internal part of the liner is shaped to match the foot while the exterior matches and conforms to the shape of the shell. The dual density micro-cell material is durable and easy to customize. The C.A.S. liners are less prone to pack-out maintaining the fit over a longer period of time.

HIGH PERFORMANCE WALKING SYSTEM
The T-Ride system is fully integrated into the boot design. It’s a solid cuff-to-shell connection which delivers the perfect combination between downhill performance and uphill hiking ability.
The ability to obtain regenerated material with homogeneous and known mechanical characteristics will allow a wider use of them in the production on new ski-boots.

PLASTIC WASTE IS A PROBLEM
The “Recycle Your Boots” project was born out of the awareness that people around the world produce huge amounts of waste. Plastic waste, in which we are literally in danger of sinking, is particularly problematic. When old ski boots have had their day, they often end up in landfill or are recycled for energy in incineration plants. Anyone can hand in their old pair of ski boots to us, regardless of the brand. Tecnica will then fully recycle the old pair in a transparent and sustainable process.

With its “Recycle Your Boots” project, Tecnica is kick-starting the circular economy for the ski boot industry. Tecnica's collection and recycling initiative has been awarded by the LIFE program - the EU's financial instrument for the environment and climate action - and the project is already being implemented in eight European countries this winter season.
Tecnica's anatomically shaped liners and shells are the key to an optimal fit right from the first fitting. The better the liner and shell match the natural shape of the foot, the better the support and performance.
