Tecnica MACH BOA®HV 130 GripWalk® Alpine Ski Boots Men transition grey
Product description
Is there a better combination than performance and comfort? No! That's why Tecnica has developed the Mach Boa HV 130 GW.
The boot combines a sporty 130 flex with the BOA closure system. The system is integrated in the lower section, while two Lift-Lock buckles are attached to the shaft. The last width of 103 millimetres is best suited to skiers who tend to have wide feet. Thanks to Tecnica's C.A.S. system, the shell can be individually adapted to the foot through thermoforming. The N.F.S. Performance liner has been developed according to the principles of Eco Design. It is made from recycled materials. In addition, the material composition is less complex so that recycling after the life cycle is possible. The GripWalk sole provides sufficient grip on foot.
The C.A.S. - Custom Adaptive Shape -Shell has an anatomical shape that matches the shape of the foot. This allows for a better out-of-the box initial fit. The dimples on the shell offer less surface tension and facilitate heating, making customizing the shell easier. The shell retains the new shape better and longer.
FEATURES OF THE SHELL
- Anatomic and precise shape
- Easier and faster thermo-forming
- Easy customization
INDIVIDUAL ADJUSTMENT OF THE SHELL
-
Punching (for more volume)
-
Grinding (for more volume)
The ability to obtain regenerated material with homogeneous and known mechanical characteristics will allow a wider use of them in the production on new ski-boots.
- Recycled power strap and PFC free
- Recycled aluminum buckles
- Partly recycled sole material
PLASTIC WASTE IS A PROBLEM
The “Recycle Your Boots” project was born out of the awareness that people around the world produce huge amounts of waste. Plastic waste, in which we are literally in danger of sinking, is particularly problematic. When old ski boots have had their day, they often end up in landfill or are recycled for energy in incineration plants. Anyone can hand in their old pair of ski boots to us, regardless of the brand. Tecnica will then fully recycle the old pair in a transparent and sustainable process.
GIVE YOUR SKI BOOTS A NEW LIFE
With its “Recycle Your Boots” project, Tecnica is kick-starting the circular economy for the ski boot industry. Tecnica's collection and recycling initiative has been awarded by the LIFE program - the EU's financial instrument for the environment and climate action - and the project is already being implemented in eight European countries this winter season.
Tecnica's anatomically shaped liners and shells are the key to an optimal fit right from the first fitting. The better the liner and shell match the natural shape of the foot, the better the support and performance.
Best fit - right from the first fitting.
The precisely adapted anatomical shape guarantees more comfort and better performance. Tecnica offers 5 different volume sizes to guarantee an optimal fit for every foot shape.
• LOW VOLUME: 98 mm
• MID VOLUME: 99 mm
• MID VOLUME: 100 mm
• HIGH VOLUME: 102 mm
• HIGH VOLUME: 103 mm
Celliant liner is powered by 13 thermoreactive minerals that convert body heat into infrared energy. Infrared penetrates deep into the tissue to increase circulation, oxygen and blood flow. This in improved warmth, performance, thermal regulation and faster recovery. Lambswool offers additional insulation.
The BOA® Fit System, provides a performance fit engineered to enhance feel and responsiveness while reducing pressure points by incrementally modulation the Alpine boot closure with precise micro-adjustments.
DIALED IN: Micro-adjustable, precision fit
LOCKED IN: Uniform wrap, delivering superior heel hold and edge-to-edge control
CONFIDENT: Engineered to perform in the toughest conditions
- Anatomicallo pre-shaped internal padding
- Custom thermoformable with hot air
- Extra thick soft padding offers comfort and warmth
Utilizes softer plastic over the instep area that allows the shell to open easier as you are entering or exiting the boot.
Innovative Lift Lock system holds the buckles up and out of the way so they don't catch while getting in or out of your boots.
