Sporty skiers want ski boots that fit right away. Tecnica has developed the Mach1 models with this premise in mind.
The shape of the foot is mirrored by the inner boot and the shape of the inner boot is mirrored by the shell. The Mach1 MV 110 TD GW has a flex of 110, a medium volume and, with a 100 mm last, is the ideal choice for skiers with normal width feet. The integrated T-Drive technology consists of a dynamic carbon plate on the back of the boot. This connects the shell with the shaft end, which allows for more precise edging, better power transmission and stability. If the boot does not fit directly despite the anatomical fit and asymmetrical toe box, the shell and liner can be individually adjusted and processed thanks to C.A.S. technology. The model comes with a GripWalk sole. Like all models in the Mach1 series, the Mach 1 MV 110 TD GW has been developed according to the principles of Eco Design. This means that PVC-free, recycled and recyclable materials are used.
The C.A.S. - Custom Adaptive Shape -Shell has an anatomical shape that matches the shape of the foot. This allows for a better out-of-the box initial fit. The dimples on the shell offer less surface tension and facilitate heating, making customizing the shell easier. The shell retains the new shape better and longer.

C.A.S. - Custom Adaptive Shape -has revolutionized ski boots with regards to fit and personalization. The liners are anatomically shaped for optimal comfort and offer great heel hold. The internal part of the liner is shaped to match the foot while the exterior matches and conforms to the shape of the shell. The dual density micro-cell material is durable and easy to customize. The C.A.S. liners are less prone to pack-out maintaining the fit over a longer period of time.

The ability to obtain regenerated material with homogeneous and known mechanical characteristics will allow a wider use of them in the production on new ski-boots.

PLASTIC WASTE IS A PROBLEM
The “Recycle Your Boots” project was born out of the awareness that people around the world produce huge amounts of waste. Plastic waste, in which we are literally in danger of sinking, is particularly problematic. When old ski boots have had their day, they often end up in landfill or are recycled for energy in incineration plants. Anyone can hand in their old pair of ski boots to us, regardless of the brand. Tecnica will then fully recycle the old pair in a transparent and sustainable process.

With its “Recycle Your Boots” project, Tecnica is kick-starting the circular economy for the ski boot industry. Tecnica's collection and recycling initiative has been awarded by the LIFE program - the EU's financial instrument for the environment and climate action - and the project is already being implemented in eight European countries this winter season.
Tecnica's anatomically shaped liners and shells are the key to an optimal fit right from the first fitting. The better the liner and shell match the natural shape of the foot, the better the support and performance.

DRIVE PRECISION
The T-Drive dynamic carbon connector creates a longer lever arm compared to traditional ski boots. This allows:
- Quicker edge to edge transitions.

- Edge drive precision.
PERFORMANCE EFFICIENCY
The T-Drive Technology creates a stronger and more effective connection between the cuff and the shell, that supports the boot flex and avoids plastic deformation. This means reduced energy dissipation and a more efficient power transmission.
ENHANCED COMFORT
Comfort comes from many places in the new Mach1 MV. The T-Drive technology provides a progressive flex regardless of temperatures, keeping the shape unchanged and a more consistent fit. The T-Drive support also allows the use of softer plastics, without compromising performances but making the boots easier to get on and off.
Celliant liner is powered by 13 thermoreactive minerals that convert body heat into infrared energy. Infrared penetrates deep into the tissue to increase circulation, oxygen and blood flow. This in improved warmth, performance, thermal regulation and faster recovery. Lambswool offers additional insulation.
Utilizes softer plastic over the instep area that allows the shell to open easier as you are entering or exiting the boot.
Innovative Lift Lock system holds the buckles up and out of the way so they don't catch while getting in or out of your boots.
