Product description

The Zero G Tour Pro ski touring boot has always been a highly athletic downhill ski boot.

Now it comes in a new design, with a 3D frame construction, power frame, new buckles for better handling and a fit-optimized inner boot. For the new ski touring season, the boot with 130 flex has 1.5 degrees more forward lean - for even more downhill performance. The heel area has also been anatomically improved. The new shaft construction offers 10 percent better walking comfort. And thanks to the higher entry point, it is easier to get into the ski boot. The T-Hike walking mechanism has also been revised and is now more stable and easier to operate. The double-blocking mechanism is self-adjusting thanks to a spring. The carbon shaft gives the boot two important properties: lightness and stability. The Zero G Tour Pro thus shows its full performance when climbing high peaks and descending deep powder slopes.

The Tecnica product designers were able to significantly reduce the weight once again with a few improvements to the details: the shaft is lighter, the material is thinner overall and the sole is slightly narrower. The new buckles and the new inner boot also contribute to the sporty diet. The result: the new Zero G Tour Pro weighs around 100 grams less than its predecessor.

In order to save resources, the model was developed according to the Eco Design, which means that PVC-free and recycled materials are used. With a last width of 99 millimetres, the shoe is the ideal choice for people with average width feet.

RECCO® Advanced Rescue Technology
RECCO® Advanced Rescue Technology:

BE SEARCHABLE IN CASE OF AVALANCHES AND EMERGENCIES OR IF LOST IN THE OUTDOORS RECCO RESCUE REFLECTORS MAKE YOU SEARCHABLE BY ORGANIZED RESCUE TEAMS SEARCHING WITH RECCO DETECTORS. RECCO technology makes you searchable to professional rescuers in the event of an avalanche accident or when lost in the outdoors. Wearing gear equipped with RECCO reflectors enables professional rescuers to locate you with RECCO detectors. The technology is a two-part system, the detector sends out a directional radar signal like the beam of a flash light. Once the beam of the signal hits the RECCO reflector the signal is echoed back and directs the rescuer to your location.

RECCO handheld detectors, first introduced in 1983, are utilized today as a standard tool for avalanche rescue by mountain rescuers worldwide and are used at more than 800 ski resorts and mountain rescue organizations in 27 countries.

The recently introduced RECCO SAR helicopter detector, was designed to scan large areas fast for a missing person in the outdoors.

It has been deployed and is operative at several locations in the Alps, North America and Scandinavia, with the goal to increase coverage globally and add constantly more countries and areas to the list.

For the user the RECCO reflector offers a simple solution to always be searchable. The reflector is a smallpassive transponder that weighs less than four grams.

C.A.S. Shell
C.A.S. Shell:

The C.A.S. - Custom Adaptive Shape -Shell has an anatomical shape that matches the shape of the foot. This allows for a better out-of-the box initial fit. The dimples on the shell offer less surface tension and facilitate heating, making customizing the shell easier. The shell retains the new shape better and longer.

FEATURES OF THE SHELL

  • Anatomic and precise shape
  • Easier and faster thermo-forming
  • Easy customization

INDIVIDUAL ADJUSTMENT OF THE SHELL

  • Punching (for more volume)

  • Grinding (for more volume)

C.A.S. Liner
C.A.S. Liner:

C.A.S. - Custom Adaptive Shape -has revolutionized ski boots with regards to fit and personalization. The liners are anatomically shaped for optimal comfort and offer great heel hold. The internal part of the liner is shaped to match the foot while the exterior matches and conforms to the shape of the shell. The dual density micro-cell material is durable and easy to customize. The C.A.S. liners are less prone to pack-out maintaining the fit over a longer period of time.

LINER FEATURES

• Anatomic and precise shape

• Dual density pre-shaped thermoformed microcell material

• Great out-of-the box fit

• Enhanced sensitivity

LINER CUSTOMIZATION

• ADJUSTABLE TONGUE To adjust the entry area

• THERMO-SHAPING Liner in the oven: 80°C-176°F / 8 minutes.

• PUNCHING (INCREASE VOLUME) Microcell material can be heated and punched in problem fit areas.

• GRINDING (INCREASE VOLUME) Microcell material is easily grindable up to 2 mm in problem fit areas.

• FIT KIT (DECREASE VOLUME) Glue the C.A.S. Fit Kit pre-shaped pieces to decrease the volume of the liner.

T-HIKE DOUBLE BLOCKING- MECHANISMUS
T-HIKE DOUBLE BLOCKING- MECHANISMUS:

The T-Hike is a lighter interpretation of the Zero G Tour Double Blocking Mechanism. It offers strong, progressive flex and great lateral power transmission. The shell is connected to the cuff at two separate points, and once in hiking mode it guarantees unrestricted walkability. In addition, the internal spoiler delivers unique solidity to the boot on downhill.

POWER FRAME
POWER FRAME:

Thanks to the Grilamid® shell, the Zero G Tour Pro is strong, powerful and smooth while skiing. The Power Frame construction increases stiffness and torsional resistance, allowing to reduce the thickness of the shell without loss of performance. The new Zero G Tour Pro features 10% more range of motion compare to the previous edition.

FREE MOVE
FREE MOVE:

The new hinge point allows frictionless hiking, so you can hike more with less energy.

DYN CERTIFIED INSERTS
DYN CERTIFIED INSERTS:

The inserts of the Zero G make entry into all low-tech bindings easier. The inserts are positioned as far back as possible to improve walkability, and Quick-Step-in technology makes it easier to enter pin bindings.

QUICK INSTEP
QUICK INSTEP:

Utilizes softer plastic over the instep area that allows the shell to open easier as you are entering or exiting the boot.

VOLUME CONCEPT
VOLUME CONCEPT:

Tecnica's anatomically shaped liners and shells are the key to an optimal fit right from the first fitting. The better the liner and shell match the natural shape of the foot, the better the support and performance.

Best fit - right from the first fitting.

The precisely adapted anatomical shape guarantees more comfort and better performance. Tecnica offers 5 different volume sizes to guarantee an optimal fit for every foot shape.

• LOW VOLUME: 98 mm

• MID VOLUME: 99 mm

• MID VOLUME: 100 mm

• HIGH VOLUME: 102 mm

• HIGH VOLUME: 103 mm

ECO Design
ECO Design:

The ability to obtain regenerated material with homogeneous and known mechanical characteristics will allow a wider use of them in the production on new ski-boots.

  • Recycled power strap and PFC free
  • Recycled aluminum buckles
  • Partly recycled sole material

PLASTIC WASTE IS A PROBLEM

The “Recycle Your Boots” project was born out of the awareness that people around the world produce huge amounts of waste. Plastic waste, in which we are literally in danger of sinking, is particularly problematic. When old ski boots have had their day, they often end up in landfill or are recycled for energy in incineration plants. Anyone can hand in their old pair of ski boots to us, regardless of the brand. Tecnica will then fully recycle the old pair in a transparent and sustainable process.

GIVE YOUR SKI BOOTS A NEW LIFE

With its “Recycle Your Boots” project, Tecnica is kick-starting the circular economy for the ski boot industry. Tecnica's collection and recycling initiative has been awarded by the LIFE program - the EU's financial instrument for the environment and climate action - and the project is already being implemented in eight European countries this winter season.
