This windproof and breathable classic with a soft fleece lining is suitable for many sports such as snowshoeing, hiking, walking and more. An easy-care, quick-drying softshell jacket made with Eco Finish, an environmentally friendly water-repellent finish without fluorocarbons (PFC) that offers reliable protection against wind, rain and snow showers. The Cyclone has practical features such as adjustable cuffs and hem and two zip pockets, while the concealed front zip and stand-up collar provide additional protection from cold wind and wet conditions. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for an environmentally friendly, functional product made from sustainable, bluesign® certified materials.

PFCs are part of a group of chemical compounds which are used to waterproof the outer layer of many outdoor products. They have come under criticism for being non-biodegradable, bioaccumulative and toxic, and suspected of being harmful to health. VAUDE has made a clear commitment to completely renouncing PFCs.
PFCs or perfluorinated chemicals are used in many industries. However, research has shown that they are bad for the human body and the environment, so fabric manufacturers are banning them from their products.
